Illuminations Luncheon

BC Women’s Health Foundation is looking for out-going volunteers for our signature fundraiser, Illuminations Luncheon presented by RBC Wealth Management, on Friday, March 1, at The Westin Bayshore, Vancouver. Illuminations brings together community, corporate, government, and medical researchers to support and learn from extraordinary women’s health researchers and leaders. Illuminations feature keynote speaker Dr. Hayley Wickenheiser, presentations on cutting-edge research, and a panel of exceptional experts in a discussion about how research leads to change in women’s health care. Attendees will have the opportunity to invest in various financial research awards. Offered through the Women’s Health Research Institute (WHRI), these awards provide a launch pad for the brightest minds and most cutting-edge ideas—improving care and changing lives for decades to come.

Benefits of Participating

This is an amazing opportunity to learn about cutting-edge research in women’s health by women who are experts in their field and get a chance to network with them. There will be a short orientation in mid-February for volunteers. Lunch will be provided. This is an excellent place to volunteer for a great cause while learning about health research and developing your networking skills. Tickets for the event are $225, which is, of course, free for volunteers.
